- Diabetes
- Orthopedic injuries and chronic conditions
- Wounds
- Spinal cord injuries and spinal stenosis
- Traumatic brain injury
- Cardiovascular disease
- Erectile dysfunction
- Some neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, and multiple sclerosis
Stem cell therapy improves cell regeneration and aids the tissue in its healing and repairment process.
What are Stem Cells?
Stem cells are adult cells that are capable to develop, or change into specialized cell types.
Most stem cells are multipotent and develop into specialized cell types and help physicians repair diseased or damaged tissue.
Bone marrow-derived MSCs (BMSC)
can be extracted from a patient or a donor by aspiration, typically from the iliac crest or sternum. Bone marrow stem cells are mostly used in bone marrow transplants in patients diagnosed with leukemia or certain types of hematopoietic disease. Studies have found bone marrow-derived stem cells to be an effective treatment for some chronic or degenerative disorders. At our clinic, we make every effort to comfort the patient and reduce the pain during the extraction process of MSCs from bone marrow.
Adipose-derived MSCs (AMSC)
are surgically extracted by liposuction from a patient’s own fat tissue. Adipose tissue is easily accessible, and is a rich source of multipotent adult stem cells. These stem cells are quickly and easily collected, and only a small amount of adipose tissue is needed for the purpose. The process of collection of adipose-derived stem cells is less invasive, less painful, safer, and faster than that of collection of MSCs from bone marrow.

Umbilical cord-derived MSCs (HUCT-MSC)
Based on clinical research data, we use umbilical cord stem cells (UCMSCs) for the treatment of certain neurodegenerative, autoimmune, and inflammatory diseases.
We offer two types of umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells treatment:
Human umbilical cord tissue: is a rich source of mesenchymal stem cells. The extraction process is extensive requiring the stem cells to be derived, cultured, expanded, and tested over three weeks before its use at the Stem Cells Transplant Institute. These cells can repair tissue, modulate the immune system and reduce inflammation and are very effective for treating neurodegenerative and immune-mediated disease.
Cord blood: We offer clinical trial-grade stem cell concentrate from umbilical cord blood. These cells support tissue regeneration and revascularization and are very effective in treating age-related, degenerative diseases such as osteoarthritis and erectile dysfunction.
Once the parents approve, UCMSCs can be collected from umbilical cord donation,. The procedure is safe and painless for both the child and mother.
How Does Stem Cell Therapy Work?
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) naturally repair injured or diseased tissue. But patients suffering from chronic diseases might have insufficient quantities of stem cells or might fail to release the stem cells quickly to repair the damaged tissue.
Research has shown that mesenchymal stem cells can regenerate damaged or diseased tissue, modulate the immune system, decrease pro-inflammatory mediators, release growth factors, cytokines, and chemokines that assist in the healing and formation of new blood vessels while suppressing inflammation.
Mesenchymal stem cells:
- Promote self-healing
Have potent anti-inflammatory capabilities - Modulate abnormal immune system responses
- Prevent additional premature cell and tissue damage
- Reduce scarring
- Stimulate new blood vessel growth improving blood flow
